"Magistrate Ebrima Jaiteh of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court has ordered one Musa Manneh to pay the sum of three thousand Dalasis to one Abdoulie Jawla for wrongfully suing him before the court.
Magistrate Jaiteh made this order in a judgment delivered in a civil suit between the plaintiff, Musa Manneh, and the defendant, Abdoulie Jawla, claiming the sum of D30, 000 being the amount he allegedly claimed was given to the defendant for him to send it to the plaintiff’s brother (Dawda Manneh) who is in Libya for the said Dawda Manneh to cross to Italy.
The trial magistrate, Ebrima Jaiteh, said on the 25th day of November 2014 the defendant denied the claims of the plaintiff and to discharge the arduous burden of proof required in the case, the plaintiff called two witnesses and tendered no exhibit."
