Good Regular taxpaying customers of the GRA being rewarded,in the hope that more taxpayers will want to become GRA customers.Novel idea.
The Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA) will today organise a Taxpayer Appreciation Day alongside the launching of the GRA website at the Penchi Mi hall at Paradise Suites Hotel.
The event being described as a high-level convergence will bring together taxpayers, government officials, institutions, individuals as well as the community to receive appreciation gifts from the Gambia Revenue Authority.
In an effort to improve compliance and recognise compliant taxpayers, whose contributions continue to make it possible for government to provide essential services for the people of the country, the GRA is organising the Taxpayer Appreciation Day.
The board, management and staff of the GRA invite customers to this first-ever Taxpayer Appreciation Day today Friday 19 December 2014, at 4 pm at the Paradise Suites Hotel.
The day was set aside to recognise and honour compliant taxpayers, who pay their taxes and duties on time consistently.
According to the invitation from the office of the GRA, the President is expected to attend this very important Taxpayer Appreciation Day.
