The Gambian leader, His Excellency Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya AJJ Jammeh has continued to receive more appreciation messages from people within and outside the country in recognition of his development achievements in the country since 1994, among others.
The latest messages came from Moses Sonko, a Gambian residing in California, USA and Pa Momodou Senghore, a Gambian based in Norway.

The messages read:

I greet you in the name of the Almighty God. My name is Mr. Moses Sonko a proud citizen of The Gambia, the Smiling Coast of West Africa. I was an employee of Nawec before travelling abroad to the USA to further my education in Electrical Engineering. I am currently a Fiber Optic network field engineer for Verizon, in Long Beach, California, USA. I am also the CEO of Hands on Afrika Trading, a company that imports quality merchandise to The Gambia.

I would first like to commend you on the wonderful work you are doing in The Gambia. Your leadership qualities, Mr. President you are a model for other African Countries. If other African Leaders would emulate your style of leadership, Africa will be the dominating force it should be in this world. Your approach towards the total development of country and man is unique and inspirational. You address the Health of this nation, because a nation that is not healthy cannot be a progressive one. You took on education by the horn because you understood that Knowledge is power.

Furthermore, Mr. President you show us that our country can be self-sustenance through agriculture if only we grow what we eat and eat what we grow. Indeed, your actions speak louder than words. Every time I come back home, Mr. President, my admiration for you goes to a higher level. I just want to say that I am proud of you as my President and The Gambia as my homeland.

Your Excellency, you are my hero, I pray that God will continue to bless you and your family, and continue to give you the wisdom and vision to take this country to a higher height. I thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to read this letter.

Moses Sonko

........................
Please allow me Your Excellency and dear brother to register my profound gratitude and sincere appreciation to specific government offices and personnel of great importance to this nation. I am deeply associated with the development efforts of our nation despite living in the Diaspora for over three decades. I took upon myself to be a worthy ambassador for my country in supplementing Your Excellency's efforts of building the nation from health, education to development processes.

I am definitely short of words to express the gallant and benevolent gesture of selfless services accorded to me and the visiting Mayor of Dramann, who lives 45 km from the Oslo Norway while on two weeks holiday in The Gambia to deliver a forty foot container of furniture for the community of Sanyang Lower Basic School to ginger the sky is the limit call for education by Your Excellency.

His Excellency, the patriotic citizens of The Gambia and friends of the President association with the dynamic leadership and enthusiastic participation of the Honourable Nyimansata Sanneh-Bojang, Amie Kolleh-Jagne and Fatou Saine, have been very instrumental in leading us to key government offices and accompanying us to the community of Sanyang.

Two of the ministers leading by examples are the Ministers of Basic and Senior Secondary Education Honourable Fatou Lamin Faye and Honourable Momodou Tangara, Minister for Foreign Affairs have made all necessary means for the easy delivery of the container to the community of Sanyang with their committed staffs.

The Mayor of Banjul, Honourable Samba Faal and the Foreign Affairs minister have provided presidential treatment for the visiting Mayor of Norway and he is deeply honoured with honorary citizenship of Banjul and Sanyang. His Excellency, these are the type of people the Gambians need. Another right hand man of honour and dignity, trust and love for humanity is Lamin Gassama of the Gambia Red Cross Society has been of selfless services for over six years for the interest of the nation and has always given me the fullest support and encouragement for whatever is achieved today.

Similar, expressions from my heart goes to Mr. Omar Cham commonly known as (OC Cham) and his family who rendered tremendous efforts in loading of the container for the Gambian community of Sanyang. My sincere appreciation to Jerreh-ba Sanyang and the entire community of Sanyang Village for their hospitality and warm accorded reception, VDC and the school Management committee for articulating a unique society. Your Excellency, thank you for creating the enabling environment to see the advancement of our society.

May Allah, the Almighty protect you all and grant you good health and vision to steer the affairs of our beloved nation in peace and solidarity.
