MINOR RESHUFFLE AT GAF

On Tuesday, 24th of August 2010 the Army PRO Lt, Omar Bojang in his office at the defence headquarters in Banjul called reporters to inform them of the changes that had taken place at the Gambia Armed Forces on the 20th of august 2010.
According to Omar Bojang, Brig, Sering Modou Njie, the Chief of Army staff has been redeployed to serve as the Chief of Republican National Guards (RNG) and also the General Officer Commanding the State Guard Battalion.
The GAF PRO also said Brig, General Lamin Bojang, former Chief of Republican National Guards (RNG) and General Officer commanding State Guard Battalion is now the Chief of Army Staff
