I keep wondering guys why on earth president jammeh hit the roof for the people of Nioro Jataba in Kiang not coming out in their large numbers to welcome him.
Is it conpulsory, mandatory or a constitutional requirement in The Gambia that people must come out to welcome the president's entourage and attend his meeting even against their will.

Here is jammeh who claim that even if Gambians don't vote for him the (Jins)the spritual beings will vote for him and yet being anoyed for a small number of the same people not showing loyality to him.

It is my understanding that in Kiang districts there is opposition to the ruling party. I suppose they feel remote from the national politics and the people there are on the whole very poor.

I have also heard of villages being over ruled on their choice of Akalo and a government yes man being imposed from outside.

Is there any truth to this?
