"The tarot is a set of cards used in fortune-telling. A few years ago, tarot cards would have conjured up images of Gypsies, who didn't begin using tarot cards until the 20th century. Today, the cards are popular among occultists and New Agers in all walks of life. According to Grillot de Givry (1971):"

Toubab, not my kind of stuff. I only believe in the material world, kind of a student of Thales. If it cannot be touched, seen, or physically verified, then it doesn't exist...

There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy

Spreading the Tarot cards in troubled times, not very sensible but comforting!

How sad Kayjatta! You are missing all the action in love, soul, mind and spirituality.

Toubab, Moe ](and his Sheikh Prof)are actually experts in this area. They call it 'lastar kharr'. You see the 102 UDP supporters who defected to APRC yesterday in Ebo Town alone has all been 'foretold' , and amazingly it all came out to be true...

Very strange indeed, 'Touby' ()........
Thanks, will come in handy - so relieved to find out i quoted the great master correctly.
Kay, aren't you a New Ager then? I'm sure Toubab1020 is, even though he doesn't know it himself .
And Turk? I'm not sure (but he loves his 'herbs').

And all the men and women merely players:
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts"

Thoubab:(Agnostic) s h i t might have happened; then again, maybe not.

Turk, some men definitely are but so are some women. I wouldn't call myself a feminist per se - that was when i was younger. Is something wrong with my computer? When i tried the jaywalker link, i ended up reading about Alcoholics Anonymous. Is that a hint?
Talking of age: Toubab, isn't that verse beautiful? Especially the end: sans eyes, sans teeth (never knew Shakespeare spoke French). I hope for an exit before i'll have to play that part. Now i think it's time for a Celtic Cross spread of the Tarot...

Anna,you know that English has taken bits from many other languages,when it suited us,
all you have to do is copy and paste that link in the address box then delete the * s and insert the word that TURK posted with spaces in between.

P.S. Try this site,you will want java to make it work scroll down to see the Celtic Cross:
