on my last trip to gambia i met a lady who worked at the us embassy who said that they have a library for reference for students who were interested in studying in US. It is to help them with SATs. I hope someone can use this facility.

As far as i can remember it is free to use the reference library, do you need to know right away or can it wait a few days. The lady who gave me the information was surprised that it wasn't used much but after we chatted i think i relased the problem no promotion of the facility. How many Gambians would use it!!, I would have thought a lot but the opening hours might be restrictive to the target audince. I had planned to look in to when I returned, there is s tudent at St augustines who i would like to be introduced to it.
I hope many more people use.
The person you know do they need this library or just extra knowledge.

Mamag, not sure about UK, but i did look into the possibility of online studying such as OPEN UNIVERSITY, I think there is a college in Farjari that is linked to a college in UK, that would be a good starting point. I wanted to sponsor a student to do the HNC/ HND in Gambia and have a qualification and college certificate that would be recognised. It is process of elimination.
