He has helped me develop political maturity and i am amazed by his humility. He is widely read and highly principled. However, we need him in parliament to make the necessary pressures to bear on the Assembly. Fighting from the outside is harder than from within.
Right now, the assembly is nothing other than a private club with allegiance to Junkung alone. He is exposing mis-steps and educating at the same time. |

Halifa is one of those sons who are effective in or outside of the house. He is the greatest hope ever to happen to us. In fact his role in the house is holding him back as he gave up a lot of things to represent the people. After all, the two of them effective as they may be, are being run down by those uninformed praise singing representatives.
He was much more effective when he was outside of the house. He use to write a lot and analyse policies across the globe. All that is now curtailed because of his role as minority leader.
You can deny him his dues but cannot argue with his sense of intelligence and command for respect and leadership. If Jammeh could eliminate him he will, but the man fears no death much more prison. God bless him. Peace
Thanks dbaldeh for that tribute!
We knew THEM very well. THEM CRAZY BALD HEAD RUNNING OUT OF THE TOWN!!! and holding a "nasty trump card" and high -jacking progress for Gambians. |
