He has helped me develop political maturity and i am amazed by his humility. He is widely read and highly principled. However, we need him in parliament to make the necessary pressures to bear on the Assembly. Fighting from the outside is harder than from within.

Right now, the assembly is nothing other than a private club with allegiance to Junkung alone. He is exposing mis-steps and educating at the same time.

“When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it--always.”

He was much more effective when he was outside of the house. He use to write a lot and analyse policies across the globe. All that is now curtailed because of his role as minority leader.

You can deny him his dues but cannot argue with his sense of intelligence and command for respect and leadership. If Jammeh could eliminate him he will, but the man fears no death much more prison.
God bless him.
Peace
