When the heaven is cleft asunder, (1) When the planets are dispersed, (2) When the seas are poured forth, (3) And the sepulchres are overturned, (4) A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. (5) O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, (6) Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? (7) Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. (8) Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. (9) Lo! there are above you guardians, (10) Generous and recording, (11) Who know (all) that ye do. (12) Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. (13) And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; (14) They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, (15) And will not be absent thence. (16) Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! (17) Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! (18) A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. (19) surat infitar |

Personality traits of the believer. You can check if you fit in:
1. Those who offer their prayers with all solemnity and full submissiveness.
2. Those who turn away from dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that Allah has forbidden.
3. Those who guard their chastity i.e. stay away from illegal sex.
4. Those who are faithful to all duties that Allah has ordained; honesty, moral responsibility and trust.
5. Those who strictly guard their five compulsory congregational prayers at their fixed stated hours.
These are indeed the inheritors. What shall they inherit? Jannatulfirdaus (paradise). The shaitan is treacherous. He will do everything under his disposal to put doubts in your mind with regards to the authenticity of these statements that are from the almighty Allah; but whoever falls victim to of whims of shaitan, he or she will be among the losers. May Allah guide us along the straight path. |

Jinns Become Muslims
“The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) set out with a group of his Companions, heading for the marketplace of Ukaaz. The devils had been prevented from hearing the news of heaven, and the flaming fire had been sent against them, so the devils came back to their people, who asked them, ‘What is the matter with you?’ They said, ‘We have been prevented from hearing the news of heaven, and flaming fire has been sent against us.’ They said, ‘It can only be something new that is preventing you from hearing the news of heaven.’ So they searched throughout the earth, east and west, looking for what it was that had prevented them from hearing the news of heaven.
“That group which had headed for Tihaamah came across the Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) in Nakhlah, heading for the marketplace of Ukaaz, leading his Companions in praying Fajr. When they heard the Quran, they said: ‘Listen! This, by Allah, is what is preventing you from hearing the news of heaven.’ That was when they went back to their people and said:
“‘O our people! Verily, we have heard a Book (this Quran) sent down after Musa, confirming what came before it, it guides to the truth and to the Straight Path (i.e. Islam). O our people! Respond (with obedience) to Allah’s Caller (i.e. Allah’s Messenger Muhammad), and believe in him (i.e. believe in that which Muhammad has brought from Allah and follow him). He (Allah) will forgive you of your sins, and will save you from a painful torment (i.e. Hell-fire). And whosoever does not respond to Allah’s Caller, he cannot escape on earth, and there will be no Awliyaa (lords, helpers, supporters, protectors) for him besides Allah (from Allah’s punishment). Those are in manifest error.’ [Quran 46:30-32]” [Bukhari]
This is a story of a group of jinn, between three and ten in number, who came upon the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) reciting the Quran. They listened in silence with awe. They believed in it and went back to their people as daaiyahs (missionaries) calling their people to Tawheed and faith, bringing them glad tidings and warnings. This incident is mentioned in Surat al-Ahqaaf as well as in Surat al-Jinn.
Our Messenger Muhammad (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) was sent to both jinn and mankind. This is indicated by the fact that the Quran challenges both the jinn and mankind. [Quran 17:88] Ibn Taymiyah said: “This principle is agreed upon by the Sahaabah and those who followed them in truth, by the imaams of the Muslims and by all the groups of Muslims, Ahl as-Sunnah wal-Jamaa’ah and others.” [Majmoo al-Fataawa] |
