Uncle Femi, your handsome blissful face

full of back ebony pride and beauty

that stuck me hard on your pictures

that aura of hope we shall ever cherish

your struggle we shall ever count on

your micro speaker we shall monument

loaded with your eloquent echoing voice afar

for the historic records of times on print

now against the time of the world’s dawn

when ours shall outshine the dictatorial strings

for the free world we are yearning for

your monument shall ever stand aloft high

dancing to the tones of freedom in the air

swaying our national flag in all directions

in remembrance of your noble sacrifice.
