The question still remains despite the many setbacks faced by the prosecution in the ongoing trial of the 9 accused . Was there a coup in the making ? Ask me and I will personally tell you hell yeah ,the evidence is so overwhelming and reputable that I am pretty sure once again Mile two will be housing celebrities for a long Time.
According to the co-conspirators and online saviours the Gang is now fighting for their lives in a legal battle following withering allegations ,that made me laugh, some of ya'll are so far from knowing your left foot from your right ,the art of beautiful writing am assuming turns ya'll on.

Lets get some facts straight before we even try to proceed ,anything less is nonsense. The supposesed discredited state witness in the ongoing treason trial involving the former Army Chief of Defense Staff Major General Lang Tombong Tamba and others, "Ebrima Marreh" let me make this clear -lived at Lang Tombong Tamba's house and this is what went down ,the brother came up to Lang and supposedly told him that he was his uncle and that he was Langs sister's son. Personally I know all my nephews and nieces and the ones that I don't know I would enquire about.

The same Ebrima Marreh was arrested at the Farafenni Baracks and Lang tombong Tamba was made aware of the situation ,he supposedly personally adviced them to say "Jesus" sent him, why ? I dont know either, The fact of the matter is he was later released from custody. His role in the coup was to mount surveillance in various security installations across the country meanwhile assessing the degree of alertness of soldiers in various installation.

Mr. Marreh had a job to do and his duties also included covert operations to ensure the mutineers coming from Thies arrived safely, The same Ebrima Marreh was arrested and tortured for stealing 30,000 dalasis from Lang Tombongs supermarket, yes by the way Landg has a supermarket too.He never forgave Lang for it ,They somehow worked it out later. Ebrima Marreh is not someone the state made up or conspired to use against the CDS and his gang of thug criminals. As the defence would like you to believe. Its funny that men fighting for their lives have no evidence to defend themselves except the fact that the first state witness barely knew where he went to school or his age or that Rui Gassama is an opportunist. This is why I cannot stand Gambian lawyers,A law degree should not qualify anyone to start practicing law ,The requirement should include atleast ten years of service working for a major firm or the state, if not more.

Trust me Kukoi was not so confident that he decided to visit cyberspace and call for a brotherhood and the end of the intellectual showdown for no absolute reason ,He never took his "Cha-honge" off the presidency ,and will conspire and do anything to make it back to the state house. These ********s knew exactly what they planned to do and failed mainly due to the security revamps in the Gambia .I feel 100% safe everytime I leave Home knowing that the Patrol is not far or There is a cop at the intersection. The fact that they need guns and ammunition to stage the assault gave me the realization that being CDS in Gambia does not mean anything ,They have no access to Guns and ammunition which can be verified. Each bullet given to a soldier should and is accounted for but it's funny Lang managed to keep over thousand rounds of live bullets at his house ,quite possibly there was gonna be a fireworks show at Senegambia.

Colonel Ndure Cham as,he has been mentioned spoke of over throwing jammeh on a regular basis and his mode of operation was to tell soldiers non chalantly, hopefully ya'll ready for whats about to come I am ready now ya'll ready too, I'm truely not suprised. The funny thing is several personalities including CDS Massaneh Kinteh, his former Deputy Yankuba Drammeh have also been implicated including your favourite police officer Jesus. Well I think Jesus got bigger fish to fry for now, the recent surge of drugs in the Gambia is truly amazing.

I have no doubt in my mind that a coup was in the making simply because most of the allegations without being told can be verified ,The drug transactions between Ngorr and his counterparts are verifiable and the tricking down effect ends up at their favourite drug house in Serrekunda ,London corner. It's amazing when you can visit a Gambian neighbourhood and find Toubabs strung out on dope and prostituting for a hit. Ngorr Secka is a known drug dealer , he was supplying and selling to several personalities within the demograph prior to his apprehension.

I am the least suprised that Kukoi had penetrated the security system in the Gambia once again and was conspiring to over throw a democratically elected government with the Army chief of staff who already felt he was president . What amazed me was that the escort for the CDS almost surpasses Jammehs escort, for what reason i don't know. I know ya'll some dis-believers but this much I will say A coup was indeed in the Making and these brothers did not even want ya'll to slaughter your goats and sheep on Tobaski day. Most of ya'll would have forgotten your "Geetuma Si Jaakaka bi" at the mosques, Instability in Gambia is not even an option so like my marabout Phoday once told me whosoever wishes evil to Gambia will not succeed. If your plans are to spill blood ,trust me Sannehmentering will not allow it.

This was not meant to be a bloodless coup ,they were ready to blow shiit apart and and measure the damages after words. The plan was to assasinate President Jammeh the way Guinea Bissau's Army chief was blown away. Ya'll can sit there and compromise the sovereignty of the nation and the Presidency but let me remind ya'll the presidency does not stop with Jammeh and why the hell in this world should he deserve such anyways ? Here is a man who dedicated his whole life towards the attainment of FREEDOM and I will reiterate JUSTICE for all, and opportunities for Gambians and your only answer to changes is MURDER.

There is no Biases in this trial and the court system is definitely trying to ensure that the case moves forward expeditiously. I try not to make my pieces long and boring so will later finish with Rambo ,Lie Joof and the rest.......................................Peace

You share some similar sentiments with me there Moe, but i'd rather sit on my opinion until after a judgement is passed. A reliable person has informed me that our conversations here are picked on by parties with vested interest in this case. I want no part in prejudicing this case whatsoever, that is why i am stalling on my earlier promise to Kay.

DIS-AGREE Moe. This case is sub-judice and open for defence; "INNOCENCE UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY!"

I THINK THEY HAVE PERSONAL SCORES TO SETTLE BETWEEN THEMSELVES AND THAT THEY ARE BOUND TO BE GIVEN SEVERE PUNISHMENT UNDER A TYRANT

Updates as the case progress from national media;

What a joke....................................LOL!

[Quotes]

"We acknowledge that we were given the document through an unidentified courier, who claimed that he was sent by the DPP to give me a set of documents unceremoniously packed in a plastic bag on Tuesday at 6:30 pm."

"As things stand, we have no way of knowing whether the documents I received are the same documents in the hands of the prosecution, and whether they are the same documents served to other defence counsel."

"It is only out of courtesy I personally received the documents, that were served, but I did not want to condone a blatantly irregular procedure,"

"firstly, with a set of documents with no record." She said a lady just came with a plastic bag to her office andshe insisted that they must know the name of the said girl, who said her name is "Aisha Leigh."

"I was given a bundle of documents marked 'Sabally'. I am Sisay-Sabally and I take objection to the way my name was spelt, since my name is Hawa Sisay Sabally."

"When the court order a party to serve a document the court is assured that service can only be effected under a procedure established and recognised by the law, and not putting the documents in a plastic bag."

"I am not served, but the documents were dropped at my office," she told the court.

"were service is effected by the court or bailiff a signature or certificate must be issued by the officer, who served or the bailiff."

Like I said if this is what the Defense is banking on ya'll about to wake up to a rude awakening , The Gambian security service is not as professional as most of you would want it to be ,yet they are taking strides in ensuring justice prevails, I know of the various instances which could have led the courts to dismiss the case in any western court system ,Unfortunately this is Gambia and the facts of the case are overwhelming,I doubt dicrediting the process or witnesses is the answer. The funny thing is none of what I have elaborated on you did not dispute ,this is worse than the mouth biting the hand that fed it , He was supposedly his son in any standard according to gambian norms and standards "what a joke makes you a joke" ..............................................Peace

Lol, I could not help but crack up a bit ,Getting too big ,Too big for who? It all happened during the plot ,thats why I would assume it's hard to disown each other as easily. You mean he was trying to be bigger than the president of course that much I know,It's funny no one is worried about how much money was embezzled from the Military and the whereabouts of such funds. My friend purchasing Ideal Homes in the U.S is not "Transu ak Tanka" It's funny when average civil servants have the capacity to purchase multiple homes in foreign lands. The guinea bissau saga inturn has beeen a curse for Gambia and funnily a lot of personell have gotten their hands dirty..........................................................Peace

Good observations Moe. Corruption galore from top to bottom. Except that you are unwilling go above a certain point of the hierachy in your accountability attempt. You certainly cannot exonerate the top of the chain. The Sheikh is the chef de bandits.

The office of the presidency barely has time to know everything going on in the country . I think we have institutions responsible for that, The Sheikh is just being accused trust me ,otherwise no one will be locked up at mile two prisons for economic crimes knowing they can turn on him or leak information. Even the ones who made it out of the country have not levied accusations against him ,that makes me think he is good to go........................................Peace

The president is the head of government. All the civil servants, and cabinet ministers are answerable to him and him alone. Besides the private sector which is almost non-existent in the Gambia, the president is directly or indirectly responsible for anything that goes wrong. The buck stops at his office, period. If the president admits that he cannot know all that is going on in his govt., then he must step down. As a leader, the president must have 'extra vision' and always follow up where he delegates and demand and receive feedback. I agree things will inevitably go bad sometimes, but swift corrective action (not actions based on vengeance and grudges) must be taken.
It used to be said that Jawara was not the problem, but his subordinates. That argument for the president's failure is redundant, Moe. Jammeh himself has just said at the lauching of Jawara's book "Kairaba" that the military action on July 1994 was not aimed at Sir Dawda as a person but at a system that unfortunately he was the leader of. So you cannot exonerate the leader from the wrongs of the system he oversees. You get it?

Instead of joining the Police force, most of ya'll who can read and write rather go to Europe or America for the so called greener pastures,I think it's more like running away from the "Kama Pahh's", and the realities of the environment .The fact is you can modernize you "Kama Pahh's" if you work for it. This is exactly what happens when an institution is staffed with incompetent officials , You can shout and kick all day but until the day Gambians are literate enough to maintain a standard, what you see is what you get bro, They lack the professionalism maybe, but that does not change the fact a crime occurred . At least if not anything they can read and write nowadays and don't have to speak Creole to do their jobs ,I don't know why you pretending as if you are oblivious of the facts brother .................................................Peace
