The Organisation of Gambians In Stockholm (OGIS) Sweden has the pleasure to invite you to its annual Cultural Week . This years Cultural Week will take place on Saturday the 19th through Saturday 26th of June 2010.

KIDS DAY Alviks Medborgarhus, 14.00-18.00 Free entrance
Let your kids have a day to remember! A whole day filled with activities directed to our youngest generation with face painting, goodie bags, dance competition, candy rain and much more.

TUESDAY 22nd of JUNE
WOMENS DAY – Seminar Dieselverkstaden, Sickla 18.00-21.00
As a result of the successful women’s forum held last year we dedicate this day to all our ladies to discuss relevant topics.
Discussion topics: ” The constitution of marriage”, ” Parenting in Gambia and Sweden”, ” Education- A privilege” and ” Unemployment”

OGIS strive to elevate knowledge and therefore we are proud of our Gambian youths that graduate this year.
As a special dedication to them and to highlight the endless possibilities they have ahead we organize this seminar.

Gambian culture is best experienced when we stand united. This cultural night has all the right elements to make it a success.

and an one of a kind “AFRICAN ACCESSORY show by Ella”. Put your best outfit on because it might be YOU who wins the title “Best Dressed” with spectacular prizes. Traditional and modern music will be played during the night by DJ Omorthy & James.
