2nd leg. California to Thailand Bangkok. Places visited Many temples obviously all with statues of Buddha. The most famous being the very big sitting Buddha made of 5 ton of solid gold.on to the Kings palace Cruise on the river visit Papong and floating markets and so much more. Fly to Chang Mia to see the long neck tribes who wrap long gold rings around their necks to stretch and make the neck longer. Why I don't know I think its just for decoration These tribes were refugees from the conflict's in Burma. Now. Back to Bangkok and a flight to Cambodia to see the Achient city of Angkor Wat of world heritage status as old as the pyramids in Egypt. Then a very long coach trip to see the countryside to the coastal town of Pattay the playground of Thailand. As a beach resort Pattaya has something for every one. It can be what ever you want it to be There is just about every thing for every one for recreation and entertainment If you cant have fun in Pattaya you cant have fun any where As against the one tourist strip in SeneGambia In Pattaya their are several all of which would stretch from Manji to Senegambia and beyond. with so much entrainment plus shops and supermarkets. You name it its there Another thing that struck me was as in Gambia and other African countries you would have venues the would have traditional music and entertainment How ever the many place that had live bands and singers catering for the for the European tourist with music they can relate to. These places were packed every night For me one of the highlights were the cabaret shows put on by lady boys at Tiffany's and Alcazar. Both these shows are spectacular which would rival the world famous shows at the Follies in Paris or the Tropicana in Las Vegus. All for just 7 pound per person Next stop fly south of Thailand to the island of Phucket Being small about the same land mass as Gambia Although small they are big on ideas to attract the tourist who come in there 100s of thousands each year again so much to see and do The fact is you cant do it all. Now fly to Ko Chang island in the gulf Of Thailand Again a small island and not so developed as phucket or pattaya and that's part of its charm ancient rain Forrest's and secluded coves and Beach's. Took elephant rides through the Jungle/Rain forests also a guided walk and to the the highest peak on the island with Spectacular views across the fauna and flora with views out across the ocean. Stayed in a traditional Thia bamboo dwelling on stilts situated on the beach Beautiful sun rise magnificent sunsets End of month 3rd leg with an escorted tour of both the north and south islands of New Zealand So with a guide you see all the highlights of both the islands

New Zealand has one of the best landscape you can ever see in your life. If you can, try Fiji/Vanuatu. |
diaspora! Too many Chiefs and Very Few Indians.
Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices. |

Pattaya, I hope you were careful, men are men or women, depending on the bar . When I visited bangkok we have 3 days in pattaye, what a place, everyone says its about the bars. One big playground, very hard to try and orgainise a trip to the country side, the heat is so tiring, so humid. |

AMMENDED Yep your right Jambo you have to be careful about the Lady boys who are absolutely stunningly beautiful that's why the big shows I went to see are done by lady boys. Even the Thai ladies are jealous of them The only way you can tell that they are guys is by looking at the throat for the Adams apple
I agree it can be quite hot and that's why I'm am here or go to Gambia The humidity again can be quite high but this is usually after it has rained which has been only 2 days in the 2 half months I have been here
I have not had any problem booking trips or tours as there are many places that organise such things or you can hire a not expensive Baht bus/taxi or you go by Scooter/Moped which are really silly cheap |
