Bishops hid sexual violations against children
Ireland's government now, apologizes that it hasn't been able to protect children against being sexually abused by Catholic priests.
At the same time the government emphasizes that it must never happen again.
A 720 pages report from the Irish Ministry of Justice documents that different archbishops in the Irish capital Dublin have covered countless cases about sexual assaults on children committed by Catholic priests in the period 1975-2004. The report says that over 320 children were abused by about 46 priests during the period.

This was a sad episoud in the name of the churches in Ireland, a misrepresentation of the Catholic church i believe. The vast majority of clergy men are sincere in their calibacy. Although, the difficulty for men/women to subdue their sexual desires, which are natural tendencies. Islam discourages self-imposed abstinance from natural lawful sexual relationships. ie a matrimonial relationship between man and woman. i hope this chapter is close and those affected can be compensated and looked after to repair the damanges done. |

According to recent CNN coverage, victims prefer to have the Catholic Pope, Benedict invited to Ireland for an apology to people of Ireland and victims so to state. It is also noted that this sexual abuse by Catholic priests runs on a worldwide spread including continent Africa. Perhaps some unknown incidence are hidden elsewhere in little Gambia. But Gambia is a land of 'Sutura.' |

It is not natural, for a man/woman, not to be allowed to have sex with a man/woman. |

Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices. |

Karamba I dont think it is happening in Gambia. Gambia is such a small country no one can do such evil acts without people knowing. Even the old doctrine of sutura has its limits. |
