Hi Momodou and all,
I found two news articles about the trial. In the article, it states that 16 people are to be tried in Banqui.
Why Bangui? Are there international lawyers that could intervene
in this kind of case..

Banjul - Sixteen people arrested in the west African state of Gambia earlier this year in connection with an alleged coup attempt have been charged with treason and conspiracy, legal sources said on Tuesday.

The sources, who did not want to be identfied, said the 16 - eight military officers and eight civilians - would go on trial on May 10 at the High Court in the capital Bangui. The defendants include the former head of the national intelligence service (NIA) Abdulaye Kujaby, the former chief of immigration services Tamsir Jassy and the former treasury director Alieu Jobe.
