Going herbal??
http://www.gainako.com/news/news/2009/09/24/a-nigerian-discovered-cure-for-diabetes-his-drug-is-just-a-bitter-leaf---dr-****tu.html
I greatly share Dr. Shi'ttu’s courteousness and honesty regarding this complicated matter. Some extractions from plants and proving them at lab level are advisable. One thing with Dr. Shi'ttu, she has given the courtesy of such discovery to a large extent the traditional healers, herbalists for short. In comparison, makes me wanting to challenge Jammeh to come our transparent and open this way.
For example, being from a traditional family myself, I have seen people using neem tree to cure malaria. The danger as I now would advise is the problem with “quantifying” the dose. In the case for Jammeh, is he at point thinking of doing some lab work? Well, he recently fired Mbowe, his long time support in this medicinal venture. The truth be told, Mbowe was a plant to see the attention being given to Jammeh.
Mere claims of cures cannot be taken for granted. It must be proven medicinally productive. The quantity must be balanced to prevent other side effects. In all honesty, this makes herbs to be called medicine. Referencing Jammeh’s alleged HIV Aids cure recipe, there has been a number of reported deaths.
Is Jammeh guilty of over-dosing people or is he guilty of hijacking herbal secretes without due courtesy to traditional herbalists?
