A friend of mine is interesed in buying land from a Gambia based firm called Globe Property or Global Properties. I told him to wait until he do research of this company -, and I also promissed to help him. Is anyone familiar with this company or has anyone have dealings with them or know someone who has had dealings with them? The reason I told my friend to wait is because there has been fraudulent land sales in the gambia recently. Is this company legit? who are the owners or directors of the company? do they have links to the government? do they acquire land legitimately?

i never dealt with them or really know about them just found this link on access gambia realestate. i would advise anyone to deal only with an reputable solicitor and in my experience leasehold land 99 years safest they is plenty of good deals best wishes ps if they need to know a good barrister .. send me a private message
i would agree, do not buy anything through a company, if you can go to the estate agents yourself and look at their track record, anyone will tell estate agents can set up and close overnight. BE CAREFUL sometimes they have land on the their books that is not theirs to sell.
