Never before have Gambians been so blatantly lied to and misled by so called wanna be pathological liars like we see lately. They are not journalist in the first place , and the ones that are so called journalist have an axe to grind mostly due to their incompetence. These are people who have failed in every aspect of the professional lives , What i cannot begin to phantom is 50 year old men acting like they just got weaned.

Hiding under the auspice of journalism is not a justifiable reason to slander people with fabricated stories to further your agenda ,the makeup of which came from the brain cells of paranoid schizophrenic so called Editors , who obviously have no ethical standards.

Regardless of how much slack one would like to give them the fact is a dillusional man needs guidance especially when they are blind ,paralyzed and suffering from leprosy. There is no questions asked whether journalists are supposed to hold their leaders accountable yet it should be done according to what the Law stipulates ,anything less is a challenge to the constitutionality of the said Law.

Why should Jammeh accept responsibility for the jailing of any one breaking a Law or the disappearance of Journalist when some of them eventually show up some where like they rose from the dead.

Jammeh has been giving heralded speeches to Gambians about remedying their agricultural issues and as Kukoi himself told ya'll ,the security of Gambia is Primary anything else is secondary to Jammeh. Instead of acknowledging the realities on the ground ya'll busy trying to make a fiasco of the situation.

Instead everything is repleted with the standard distortions and duplicity for which the online Blogs are typically known for. Let the vultures and the half baked intellectuals have at it and you end up with a Gainako , senegambia and the rest of them. The problem is due to ********s and power hungry wanna be's , and too many cooks you end up with a Gambia press Union and Gambia press Association both claiming legitimacy over the other.

If the impression was supposed to be holding your leaders accountable well the news media has failed miserably to hold Jammeh accountable for his unrelenting misrepresentations . My job is not to solve your problems for ya'll so don't expect that from me, just remember ya'll doing your complicit best in helping the President reach a new and surreal level.

Perhaps if the Gambian media and their "ALTOPEHS" took a second and and reflected on their achievements since their inception, they might become aware of the stark difference between the erroneous impressions that they have passed on to the Gambia public and the reality of these tragic times.

I don't wake up every morning knowing damn well that everything i write today or utter is a lie with an intent to deceive anyone ,but Gambia online does not only mislead or misstate facts, exaggerate, over state, twist words or manipulate the realities. They just lie all the time and your refusal to admit it and expose it is just as mind boggling to me.

The fact is you fools have allowed yourselves to be the conduit through which Gambians have been lied to about matters that have changed the face of the nation. Snuggles said the buck should stop with the President, and so it should. But the acceptance of deception and the absence of any challenge to the lies we have heard involving murders and kidnappings etc simply put, for this travesty, the buck rightly stops with the media.

The intrusion into the personal life of private civil servants and the elimination of targeted positions when certain people are hired into it does not qualify as Public interest or public personages ............................................................Peace

APRC government can be partly blamed for the lies and misinformation peddled against it, if APRC allowed free press in Gambia there will be no need for alternative voices. What you have to remember is the fact that for every action there is a reaction. If you do not think these online blogs you look low upon do not have an effect on how APRC governs you must be sleeping.

Gambia will never again stand tall in the international community unless APRC allows a free press and adhere to the rule of law. If Sam Sarr was your father you will not say what you are saying right now, if Sarata was your wife or sister you will not say what you are saying. Basically if one your family members have been victimized by the regime you will not be taking the stance you are taking.

If **** doesn’t affect you (to come down to your level) you won’t give a dam. You will never understand why decent people take such a stand against APRC; Gambia is a nation of brothers and sisters, our culture of intermarriage built a unique bond between the various tribes, we do not want to ruin the chariest relationship that our forefathers built.

Moe, lets apply some debating etiquetes. I think everyone is welcomed to voice or express their views, however we should reserve a dose of respect for each other. You may not always agree with some of the post here as others may not agree with some of yours too, however at the end of the day, we should be greatful that Gambians are having open debates online, a privilege many do not have on the ground there.

I think you got things confused Terangaba, Let me get this right,The APRC is to be blamed for not allowing a free press, what do you consider a free press .One that is determined to ruin the image of the country and one whose agenda is not hidden, is that the alternative voice you are talking about . The media in Gambia like any country needs to be regulated to a certain extent,we are talking about a very unprofessional workforce with no standards or ethics .

Training of the media is an ongoing issue at this point and i hope the online fools could also benefit from it . I am no genius but who really takes the role of a journalist in Gambia , Not the ones that know what the laws or graduated from college that i can assure you.

What they have been able to do is to undermine the state and ready to bargain it to the lowest bidder. Trust me they have no effect in how the APRC governs ,Most of the time they have it all wrong and as of recent have lost all credibility in the process. I don't think you fully understand the implications bro.

Let me tell you something about the jailed journalist, i believe in everything they stand for, they found a flaw in the constitution and are determined to prove it ,so be it.

Gambia will never again stand tall in the international community unless APRC allows a free press and adhere to the rule of law, bro thats a total fallacy ,Gambia is standing tall in the international community , every country in this world has it's human rights issues. In America we have the 3 strikes you are out Law which some people believe is targeted towards the black community ,All it takes is three strikes you are out for 25 years and it really does not matter how minute the crime is .

This law was enacted to fight crime in the poor neighbourhoods, as of recently almost 1 out of 10 black men is in prison . In america for instance there are different levels for different drugs Crack a by product of cocaine is found in the black neighbourhoods and is considered a level 3 whilst cocaine which is mainly found in the suburbs does not carry much of a sentence or is not considered as dangerous. Do i have to try to also explain what America has resorted to after 911 , America is a full fledged democracy yet when necessary they implement the necessary laws. Just to remind ya on a daily basis these laws are also being challenge and amended as to their constitutionality. That's just politics for you .

Am not gonna get into the emotional crap with you bro, Sam is not my Father and Sarata is not my sister and my father has no reason to challenge the constitution or any law so far . It has not affected him yet and if it were to affect him ,we will be dealing with the same process no doubt about that. Like you right said cause and consequence............................................................Peace

By the way I am Gonna question your mode of attack ,Its not a war zone and we don't live in a lawless society.

Moe with all Due respect, but the effort the state prosecutors made to ensure this six journalist are jailed, if a similar effort is made to hunt down Deyda's murderers, probably the six journalist will not even have been arrested at the first place, but there you ARE,WHAT A SHAME ON A GOVERNMENT WHO WILL JAIL JOURNALISTS AND LET MURDERERS GO SCOT FREE, ITS ONLY POSSIBLE IN THE GAMBIA UNDER DICTATOR JAMMEH,THANKS TO GOD FEARING GAMBIANS.my blood freezes if i think deep of the whole situation we are in.

Terangba see this is the problem ,you are not telling me what the law says, please forget the emotional stuff. This is the very reason why we have Nigerian and Ghanian Judges. If it's just up to Gambians no one will serve a single day in Jail of course how can you jail your best friends cousins and nephews, next door neighbours with ports between your fences. Yes the media is free to the exyent the people want it to be ,They can reappeal all these laws and if not the solution is staring you right in your face "The GPU SIX IN JAIL..............................................Peace

Your hatred for Jammeh over shadows every thing you have to say. For the Gpu six it was not a difficult task ,it was staring them right in the face when they woke up the next morning after the prints. Don't screw around Dembish ,WHO killed Deyda ? If you know and think the Karamba's at the NIA or police can tell you that you kidding yourself.Do you know exactly what happened after the murder, whether there was state involvement or not is yet to be proven and security in Gambia is not at it's peak ,anyone can get away with anything..........................................Peace
