Judicial sources said the accused journalists are expected to take their pleas before the high court on July 3rd 2009................The new judge assigned to the journalists case, Justice Wowo used to be a senior state counsel with the Attorney General’s Chambers. While at the AG Chambers, Wowo handled both Civil and criminal cases. He quits his job, and traveled to the United States, where he was working at a convenient store. Wowo could not withstand the life of an Immigrant, and therefore, he decides to return to The Gambia, where he was appointed to the position of a magistrate, and later elevated to a high court judge.....................................................lol!
A very productive "Judge" indeed!?!?!?

This is what you call a screwed up situation. From the outside, the government seems to be oppressing press freedom,yet what if all the this rhetoric is calculated and part of an ongoing strategy to overthrow a legitimate government. I personally don't think he is aware of all the circumstances leading to the arrests.If your father came to America today he will be forced to work at a convenience store or Stand erect at a Post despite how many degrees he may have as long as they were not attained here bro, He is not the only one that had to settle for a so called low job.
