This is the trend, the new culture in the Gambia. The oppressed, the battered and the bruised have no option but to run back into the arms of their oppressor and tormentor.
The sacked finance minister, Bala Gabriel Gaye and the convicted "Today" newspaper editor have both written letters of appreciation and apology respectively to their tormentor seeking his forgiveness and acceptance ...

I call it taking responsibility for his incompetences and irresponsibility regarding the Today newspaper Boss, for the minister Bala Gaye being relieved of his duties ,all he can do is be thankful for an opportunity to serve at his capacity and giving it his best shot. This is called responsibilty professor Kay, what do you want him to do be Angry. Why does everything have to have a twist. Children are taught to take responsibilty for their actions ,well that also applies to irresponsible grown men.....................................Peace

Kay,

Good that you bring this shameful situation up. One thing is certain, singing praises to this thick-skin knucklehead will never turn him humane.

By the time his unholy show is over, lot of people will regret. Finally, he too will regret very bitterly for causing so much havoc to people.
