can anyone tell me why the Banjul to Gatwick flight today was cancelled.

Have you tried asking the airline or Tour Operator?

Hi Sis
Eight o'clock both offices closed and on answer machine.
The flight arrived Wednesday at 0725 delayed due to technical reasons

I'm about been tried to avoid the dreaded swine flu,
No idea what happened with Viking sorry but I know the planes are very old theres been some serious concerns...
leakage in the cabin and theyre very drafty. Unfortunately GE are using them
They were taken over by the XL company yep the very one that went bust last summer leaving 1000's of passengers stranded and theyre using some of their old fleet you know the ones that the creditors couldn't get rid of!!!!
The flights are very cramped and you can forget about charity luggage etc
Word is theyve overstretched themselves a lot of the UK tour ops are avoiding them. |

I actually like the rains well just after everything smells so fresh and new but my bones are old I need to rest up a bit lots to do here |

why have gambia experience stopped using monarch, and can anyone book flight only with Viking to banjul.
i will try and feed back, but it would be interesting to see what ge have to say.

Jambo Viking are operating for the summer next winter GE will be using Thomas cook, Monarch and Hamberg depending on where in the UK you fly from
You have to book Viking though GE
You can also book Monarch flights (in season) with them direct |

Turk I think it depends where you are travelling from they offer Charters from Canada.
Im not sure as to why some Countries can book Charters while others cannot with them.
I was actually looking to get back to Canada though them but BA have beat them hands down
