The Senegalese newspaper, Wal Fajri has reported that the NIA have trippled their activities at Hamdalaye, and other crossing points into Senegal.

They also claim that a diplomat posted in Banjul have reported that despite the official statements, the two nations have never ever been living under the cloud tension that hovering over them at the moment.

The diplomat said that the Gambian authorities have contacted Turky for any eventuallities.

Biraago, the sad thing is, Turkey is not strategically placed on the map to rescue gambia in the event of eventuallities, sepecially with Senegal. I thought Yaya has his "juju men". I wouldnt like to change place with Yaya Jammeh, he hardly sleeps at night.

These are just the final acts of a desparate man.

If you read through the speech and the whole event arround the so-called solidarity match, you could find that, not only is the man confused but he has a mental disorder.

But this is not our main problem. The problem is that, most Gambians are still politically illitrate despite all the volumes that have been written and the seminars and meetings in the past 30 years by the progressive forces.

The relations between the progressice forces in the sub-continent has not progressed that much in the past years resulting in a highly agressive narrow nationalistic attitude. These tendencies must be countered.

Onather big danger is the hidden tribalism haunting the so-called progressive intelectuals. This became more evident when Darboe resigned from NADD.

Any body(be it Gambian or Senegalese) that contemplates to stir up problem between the two countries is personally heading towards destruction. The two countries are tied by many factors such as religios, social, economic etc.

No wonder many people regard jammeh as some one out of his senses, I am one of them. Some thing is fundamentally wrong here and we need to collectively correct it for our own good. jammeh is finish and he wants to go with a trebly big bang. This will not happen, let yaya know that he cannot reverse the past.

Wada must be applauded for his display of maturity and twenty first century leadership style. Responding to the former wrestler's gossips is an absolute waste of time and resources. I am sure Wada has got more important and dominant issues to sort out than replying to rediculous jammeh's stupidity.
