Dr. Hassan Al Turabi arrested in Khartoum, Sudan today for allegedly suggesting that Omar El Bashir should turn in himself to the International Criminal Court (ICC)... Dr. Turabi is an attorney and a hardline opposition political leader who has had a major influence on the current president El Bashir... El Bashir had earlier been indicted by the ICC for the atrocities he has committed in Darfur.
