http://mourid.wordpress.com/toubab-bou-serigne-touba/
I happened to find this link which shows that there is a mourish community in Stockholm too. They have put in a video collection from youtube on their site. (Forget the written language, they speak wolof in the videos.) 4th video from the bottom is probably from the same occasion as the one posted by Santanfara, I recognised the two children. One is from an opening ceremony announced by a toubab. Is his wolof good? My favourite is the artist video by Madelaine Mbay/Yaye Fall (4th from the top), it’s a wonderful singing and also the photo is beautiful, it makes one long for Gambia. By the way, what does ”to do madjal” mean?

Kiwi, the mourides are a global organisation with umbrella and sister satalite connection even here in Bantaba, . lemon might be their resident serign for all you know. they are very united and hardworking. they are what can best be describe as a religio-capitalist band of brothers. yes, the vedios speaks alot about them, i hope Imam kayatta will join them soon. i can't translate the word you mention, hope some good wolof speakers can help with that. njuck may be. |

Santafara, one of my friends call himself a step-aside pastor; so I guess I am a step-aside Imam . Thanks for the compliment though. |

I wonder who was really in the limousine. I hope they are not all following an empty limousine. |
