Recommend? Nope ... they're all the same ... you'll find the same posters/playground mentality there too! Mind you, I find it fun to try and 'marry up' the doublers ie different user name but same person. Doh, that makes me seem really sad - note to self, must get a life
And before anyone wades in here ... I'm also talking about non-English language sites too . Anna, back me up here, please

Haha Meme, what a storm again on the Dutch gambiapage this week again hey . Never mind, i am always anna (ook na kantoortijd). But caught you with a 'pseudo' - i'll always find you, nowhere to hide. But seriously, no - it's a bit of the same everywhere. Black Orchid, if you want 'just exchange of information': seems to be impossible. People will always be subjective, and sometimes they come across other posters with opinions that seem to come from an other planet! Clash, boom, war! Never a dull moment ! On the Dutch page people are always suggesting 'Meet and Greets'. How about us?? There are definitely some people i'd like to meet and greet around here... |

Interesting! I only ever use this web site. The energy and time it would take to use lots of sites would mean I would have no life!
How about a Bantaba party! It would be fun guessing who was who!
Incidently I have met someone in UK through my postings on Bantaba. We are firm friends now and meet a couple of times a year. I have also made friends with some of his friends. So my real life has been expanded by the cyber life on here. |

Ive got a funny feeling I might have met you before in Gambia. A couple of Xmases ago at one of the bars on the strip, or maybe it was the March? I can't really remember. Anyway we were all quite 'merry' and cutting up the dancefloor. You were doing a sort of elephant trunk dance. If it's not you, apologies, but I checked in here a while ago when you had your pic up and you did look rather familiar.

I was there couple xmases ago, and march. or even 2 weeks ago.
Elephant trunk dance? That is not one of style, but maybe I would be very creative when i-m-n-da-mood. OK next time you see me doing all sort of dance, say hi. |

thanks Hiz princess for the message, that was lovely of you. Visited "gambiazone" and yes its a completely different vibe, much younger and friendlier.
Formby you made me chuckle as I could never imagine Turk doing an "elephant trunk dance" .
Meme and anna, i just dont understand this site, everyone is here because we love/like/interested in Gambia, but if anyone dare level some criticism and all hell breaks loose.

YW Black Orchid yeah different vibe, what I find is, that similar and even more controversial topics are discussed and debated without it becoming a personal onslaught if the clique doesn't agree So much for maturity eh and the youth always get a bad rap. |
