I came across this article in The Point newspaper. It makes me wonder about the rules of discovery in the Gambia. Why would the prosecution refuse submission of documents in his possession, that are pertinent to the case, to the defense? Unless those documents are protected by the "work product rule" and or the "attorney client confidentiality and privilege", the prosecution may have to be compelled to comply with the demands of the defense in this case. Could someone conversant with this matter enlighten us please; my ignorance is obvious here.
The prosecution said the defense is trying to disarm him; that is so funny...
