TWILIGHT DREAMS

I can now only
See you in my dreams
Standing at ease
Full of unease
My eyes full of tears
The joys we shared
Now distant memories

I remember your smiles
Oh those days of laughter
Camaraderie fully abloom
Your piety so amazing
For a young man of that age
A paragon of virtues your rightful claim

Gone whilst I am away
The news came as a huge shock wave
Try as much as I did
I could not cry
Heavy with sorry
My heart went numb
Nursing the immense sadness
I went on to pray

The One who created us both
Brought me and you
To this earth of his
Decides when to recall
When it comes
We must of force return
I feel reassured by your steadfast
Hold on the path of truth and
Trust you have earned peace
I add as I must a prayer
From deep down my heart
That The Lord accepts you in Heaven

Pa,You left me to go on
Solemnly I declare before all
That if you did offend me before
I hereby forgive you for all those offenses
Praying that your rest be perfected for you
That the departure settles in peace
For those you left behind
For me it is loneliness and voids

The bugle was blown

Rest in peace that gone mate of yours. I also take the opportunity of this powerful tribute poem of yours to remember some gone mates. Oh life! Ushhhhh..my checks soaked with tears.

The dua' shall always get to him...God willing!

This was a very good pal , he too served our nation but fell on the way side .Discarded so to speak ,the pain of separation for me is deep, the words i used above I feel were not enough to express what i am feeling right now.The consolation i have is that he was a very good person who shared what he got with people not forgetting his family and friends all the way.May the Almighty grant him eternal peace in Jannah.From Him we came and back to Him we shall all return,''Kulli nafsin Nja ikatul mawt, inna lillahi wa inna illayhi raji oona''Thanks for your commiserations and my sincere condolences to you too.
