In his last visit to Minneapolis, MN -Obama said it was Mayor Rybak who first proposed about him being a democratic presidential candidate before he even made his' public. It will be nice to see him back and to hear the message he may be carrying this time around. Rybak is a very eloquent fellow.
Congress woman Betty McCollum and Keith Ellison are two important people for Obama in this area. Historically, Keith is the first Muslim in the US Congress. Keith is a simple person; someone you will meet at a barber shop or the nearby mosque. A credit for Keith is his support for Liberian immigrants, the same way that the late Wellstone supported the Ethiopians. Betty is part of the African counsel at congress level and to recall in memory, she petitioned for the Gambia's oppositions' release during their last arrest.
