Snippit: Nothing is for free
Wednesday, May 14, 2008 There is this entrenched mind-set among some section of society that what ever belongs to everybody belongs to nobody. This, expressed in both the thinking and the approach of our people to public property, is one of the most deplorable of attitudes for a development oriented society, and it had since become a state of affairs that generations of our people have had to deal with. The attitude is, without an aorta of doubt, the culprit responsible for the snail-pace development the entire continent has been enduring since independence

I think D.O. (some one used to call it dul observer) should have written "iota", not "aorta". The aorta is the largest artery that supplies blood away from the heart... Am I right or wrong? |

| Yes good point, but as a poster on Bantaba recently said " I was in a rush" spelling is not my strong thing either,You are right of course, but mistakes do happen to all of us,I was interested in the general tone and content of the piece ,which I found very understandable and clear. But hey........ perhaps the writer was talking about the heart! |

==> Is a fundamental human nature, and is one of the main reason why my kind is strongly against collectivism/communism. Free private ownership is the most significant catalyst to economic and industrial development. |
