Does gambian immigration allows a child on an adult's passport?

Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices. |

| i always thought the child had to have their own papers, but maybe that is what i have seen for children who were visiting UK, but going back to school in Gambia they had there own papers. At the time they were travelling with an Aunt. |

| Sure that is not a problem at all ,one can travel with your infant children whose names were properly added to ones passport with all the officially stamped authentications by our immigration or passport issuing office.Should there be any doubts as to the added names these authentications are what clears the air but of course always make sure that you inquire from the Gambian High Commission before traveling or get information from your travel agents. |

10x guys. She has a passport that requires a visa. I was thinking if I register her one of my two passports that does not require visa, this way we don't have to go to Gambian embassy in Dakar. Let me seeeee.
Or another question, I heard it is possible to get visa at the border/airport. Is that true? |

| They would normally issue you a tourist visa valid for short period which you must extend at the immigration headquarters in Banjul. The short duration tourist visa could be obtain at your point of entry. This is due to the countries tourism policy and it enhances travel for prospective tourists. My wife actually used the said facility recently ,so no worries there my dear man. |

My son Valentijn is born on the 14th of february. My wife went to the immigration department in Banjul and they refused to put the child in her Gambian passport. they said she needed to buy a seperate passport for him, they also said passports are scarce and if you need one quickly it will cost you more, so we needed to pay 5000 dalasis, but still it took two weeks. Anyway we have his paper now and we are currently waiting for permission to travel to holland with him regards roger |

Scandinavian tourists get 28 day visa at the airport when arriving to Gambia and to extend that, one hasnīt no longer get to Banjul. I could extend mine "behind" the police station in Bakau, i think it was 200 dalasi for one extra month and took about 5 minutes to get.
