I am a little bit concerned here after the revelations of the coup plotteres.Wether they are right or not it seems that Senegal has come up in their statements a couple of times. Is it that senegal is trying to distabilize Gambia because of grudges they might hold for Jammeh or what ever reasons that they may have? This is real troubling for another country to be meddling in its neighbors internal politics. Are they trying to install a regime friendly to their interests to have influence over Gambia?i think we are been lead to a real dangerous path.

We will deal with senegal effectively soon. Operation cassamance will start soon and they will all be speaking English by 1.oopm on July 22nd this year. We are moblising the green boys core of engineers to dig a tunnel to Dakar and yaya will be crowned there.

Infact Cassamanece is part of Gambia and yaya is a citizen and so Diamacoune has sold it to him. Haile him emperor jilanka. i ask you all to rally behind him because this is foreign aggresion. Our only problem is we have locked or killed all our captains and yaya is now on a refresher course on covert activities. gambia will be a super power. You see yaya is a great man. If you alllow Zimbabawe to loan him "CHEI" they will deal with their junalist easily, close down radio stations, they will have more professors from the magic water.

CHEI YAYA BUHABA LA

Congratulations. I can't believe it. Since long I think that those who have an interest in destabilizing certain countries in Africa won't spare the Senegambia region. I do not want to go further, but maybe you all should read what Harold Pinter said in his Nobel lecture last year. http://nobelprize.org/literature/laureates/2005/pinter-lecture.html

Of course I am not sure this is standing behind all the mess now, but even without this, the text is worth reading.

SANKOFA,

COULD YOU PLZ TALK SENSE OR LEAVE US ALONE TO DISCUSS MORE IMPORTANT ISSUES. THIS IS NOT A COMEDIANS PLATFORM OR THEATRE. WE ARE ALL CONCERN WITH THE FATE OF OUR DEAR MOTHERLAND. YOU CAN SUPPORT YAYA, THAT'S YOUR RIGHT BUT TRYING TO CLOUD OUR JUDGEMENT AND THE PICTURE ON THE GROUND IS MAKING A FOOL OF YOURSELF AND YOUR BELOVED PRESIDENT.
GOOD NIGHT

Sankofa, you need help. You have lost yourself. The Gambia at present cannot afford a war with Senegal. The Gambia government should try to resolve the Cassamance problem but not to worsen it.
Are you implying Gambia 's invasion of Senegal ? You are kidding me! You need to wake up !

God forbid there should be a war with senegal. first, i don't know one Gambian, including myself, who doesn't have family over there. so a war would be bad for EVERYONE. second, if they did try to boot out yaya, GREAT!!! we obviously need help getting rid of him. third, senegal is way bigger than Gambia. Yaya is an *****, worse, he's an ***** who has lost his mind. i don't see how anyone can support him

Gassma,
I don't support Yaya and maybe I never will, but I will always rally behind him if Senegal or any other Country in the world wants to invade us.I want my Gambia and would rather have a free federation with my neighbour or the rest of the world than be forced by them into submission with their mights.Look Senegal and other free nations are going through a democratic system with no history of a military coup what so ever.We in the Gambia wants to better than Senegal,USA Britain ect in terms of Democracy and to achieve this,we must clean our own backyards our selves and not for somebody to do it for us.
If Yaya is treating us inhumane,we should rather not sleep but wake up and show him in his face that we can only accept his leadership (Which he imposed on us forcefully against our free will),when he is ready to accept our opinion as free citizens.I think thats the only way forward and not coups.I would not want any solsier to salvage me from Yaya's grip.If any soldier feel the way I do, then speak up or take off the military uniform and join the rest of the people to show Yaya we have got independance in 1965 and are not the least ready to be colonised by our own son again and not ever.
Peace

but I will always rally behind him if Senegal or any other Country in the world wants to invade us.

senegal is not trying to invade us, it doesn't even make sense, yaya is being paranoid and trying to spread his paranoia everywhere.

we must clean our own backyards our selves and not for somebody to do it for us.

yeah, its true, we must clean our own backyards, however, it seems like a problem too big for us because how long have us Gambians been dealing with jammeh. i think its easy to say to clean our own mess however, actions speak louder than words.

we should rather not sleep but wake up and show him in his face that we can only accept his leadership (Which he imposed on us forcefully against our free will),when he is ready to accept our opinion as free citizens.

that's the problem, we ARE sleeping. yaya does whatever he wants because we have shown him that he can, we have already accepted his leadership of abuse, theft, and murder. so why again should he accept our opinion as free citizens? we definitely haven't shown him that we won't take any less than that.
