it seems strange that the president cannot attend this event

but could go to USA, Taiwan and other places hmmm, i smell something off, is near the election time again, of course it is

Bro, it baffles me as well. The President believes in Pan-Africanism (or used to), but when it comes to issues concerning the continent, mostly he sends the VP.
If you think maybe it has something to do with security issues, then you begin to remember that he just recently returned from Taiwan. Maybe, someone who knows better should help us here. |

| me i believe if the event is African he does not go. think commonwealth event in Uganda, AU summit in Lisbon, something is going on. |
