Did anyone get a chance to listen to Radio Alternative Voice-Gambia? I believe this is a very important development in the fight for freedom of expression in the Gambia.

Yes, Ebou4th

This is timely and progressive stride. With this platform Alternative Voices can be heard. It is fair enough that information from the other side is relayed and this radio stands to do just that. Highly commendable intervention and true salvation.

I have suggested to the station to incorporate a periodic listener fun drive in their programming. Something similar to what the national public radio in the US does. I think help from listeners will ensure success of this noble project.

ebou4th,

Alhassan,
Have you had the chance to listen to the radio? I think we should give them a chance and benefits of the doubt.

toubab1020,
I suggest you do not twist and turn my statements. Keep to the point and the news outlet I have mentioned. Not every one in the media or politics speak the truth. This I have found out myself. you have another experience than me.

In a situation where those entrusted with the authority to share prefer dishing out all to self and friends it takes selfless people to provide alternatives for everyone's need since there is "not enough for everyone's greed."
