Vincent Jatta Passes Away
The former Armed Forces Chief of Defence Staff, Lt Colonel Vincent Jatta (retired) has passed away, family sources revealed. The ex-chief of the armed forces who grew up in Darsilami was admitted at the RVTH were he died this week.
Burial will take place today.
Following the failed coup of March 2006, Lt. Col Jatta was detained without trial for more than a year before being released.
