Do you wish he died?

News! News! News!
The news for a year
Dispensable to the truth
In its many stages, flowing
That the “dead man is back to life”
That’s the glad tidings of news
Coming from the far and near
Indeed, news at that from his kin in blood says
Thus, “Foday is alive.”

Breathe! Breathe! Breathe!
Or I see that it is chosen he remains
A dead man in Gambia while breathing
Fresh air, breathing furiously in Bamako
Now I choose not to have him a dead man
By my sword, it shall be news, “he is breathing”
When sources are credible
And his kin laughed at it aloud
Thus said, “Foday is alive.”

Now what else a source do you need
That’s the source we are calling for
For I have no interest in him being dead
So I chose to notify the people humbly
That history pages should be updated
Just like the daily happenings, flowing
Of time when it is news, flowing
Authenticated with the help of his kin in blood
Thus says, “Foday is alive.”

Note: This poem is a tribute to the Makalo family.

"There is no god but Allah (SWT); and Muhammad (SAW)is His last messenger." shahadah. Fear & Worship Allah (SWT) Alone! (:
