Dear Compatriots,
Today (dec 16th) is three years since Deyda Hydara; proprietor of the Point Newspaper was murdered in cold-blood. Virtually, the Point’s birth anniversary became his’ in memory. Since then the only known investigation mounted was the kangaroo-dossier by the APRC administration which implicated Deyda himself. But the unanswered question to the genuine remains, how that cooked dossier can be a material of discourse when everyone knows it was Government’s effort to wipe their dirty butts by using the cover of the said dossier.

Similarly, the case for South African Steve Biko wasn’t clear until 26 years after his death. Do we need to wait that long? Share your views as time permits.

Someone somewhere knows all about this cruel act of murder on the fine skin of Deyda Hydara. Will those in the know brave up to the challenge and let us all know what has been kept for three years already? |

Yes, rightly put, bro Karamba. It wasn't single-handedly operated. We long since passed that module. If an enquiry commission were to open today, people will of course forward the alleged suspects for cross-examination. Don't you forget that the gypsy were-wolves are incorporated evenly in the society.

Fellows,
Here is another situation. Deyda Hydara, proprietor of the Point Newspaper was murdered in cold blood with life bullets. Upon Government’s investigations, they came up with a dossier. In it they alleged that:
-Deyda is a womanizer and was in relationship with his employee
-Deyda had unsettled debts with a Nigerian business man
-Deyda angered a lot of people for being critical against the regime’s draconian laws.
-Deyda’s partner Pap Saine refused to give the financial statements
Honest Gambians and non-Gambians, where does the truth lie here?
But I will question further, who was he (Deyda) critical against?
