thank you for this piece, it definately fits the gambia country right now more than ever.

Malcolm X stood before his African American brethren and sistren in Harlem and harangued them to “get off that crack; get off that cocaine; get off that welfare.” He was demanding that they arise; that they get up and take control of the burdens that had fallen upon them due to some circumstances or the other. That they do not continue to lie in the gutter with the expectation that the forces that had circumstanced them being there, were going to pass by and pick them up.

There is a limit to how long anyone can wallow in the psychology of victim-hood. There comes a time when one has to “arise, to take up ones bed,” and to proceed onward towards taking control of ones destiny. That time is now for Gambians.

GOOD WORDS

I think if my hero-great Malcolm should come back from dead today, he will be ashame of us Africans and his brothers in the United States.Look at the 21st century House Negro(Condilezza Rice)What have she done for her brothers and sisters in the States? She is roaming around the world exporting hatred and lies, which her master(GWB) gave her.Another disgrace house Negro(Powell), who was disgrace in the eyes of the whole world.Well,i was suprise to read in Bob woodward book (PLAN OF ATTACK) that Collin Powell knew that he was lying. What are the Blacks in congress doing for their fellow blacks?half of the black youths are in jail.Where is the "Black Lobby"?There is jewish lobby, cattle lobby, farmers lobby and several others.Where is the black lobby? The same thing in Africa, our leaders are corrupted to kill their own people.Disgraceful.

Sibo, well good question.I wish i can tell you what am doing for Gambians.I'm not attacking anyone one.A good debater shouldnt cry when the waves get rough. If you cant handle the heat, you should get out of the kitchen. Can you tell me that some of these guys are not part of the problem, the issues?Offcourse they are.If they have grounds to criticize me, they are 100% welcome.Sibo,we Gambians are part of our own problem.Yes are.Let me tell me something:Samsudeen Sarr, the guy i label as a criminal on Bantaba, are part of the Gang, the criminal gang that took over our country, and he is the same guy who is trying to portray himself as a St. among the thugs.Infact,Sam is not alone. How many people now live in the States,UK and other parts of the world, who help criminal Yahya Jammeh, to consolidate is power and terror on the gambian people? Some of them are there trying to make noise, cause there is no honey for them anymore. This same crminal Sarr knew that on November 11, Yahya Jammeh and is criminal cartel massacred countless innocent soldiers. He knew that, Koro Ceesay was roasted. He knew that other political opponents were beaten and totured or even murdered. But he continued to work for this criminal, and even second in command in the murder gang. The other problem we created for ourselves is that, we have a legal weapon to get this beast(Jammeh) off our back.Yes we do.We can remove him either, through the ballot or the bullet. And if we remove him by the bullet, it will be morally justified. We Gambians have to stop been gold diggers.

Mr. Justice

I love your posts. Keep going.

diaspora! Too many Chiefs and Very Few Indians.

Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices.

Mr Justice, let us look at why this is happening, becuase the black lobby would not agree on anything?? Let me give you the biggest example of dis unity the Africa Union. If you think one person in the white house could make a difference forget it, he would be ridicule whatever he did, but he was a better bet than the person in the position now. why do you think Malcolm was shot, and shot by his own people, because he spoke the truth. Anytime people speak out they are locked up, shut up, or shot down.
sibo asked what are you doing for Gambia ???? are you educating anybody, are you in a position to do any wealth creation, like develop a project that helps the village. water pumps, health clinic schools NO, WHY NOT. small little things help.
I am unhappy at your sentence ".I wish i can tell you what am doing for Gambians"
