This man is a wealth of creative genius. He says anyone can be like him. He seems not attributing his spectacular success to any special gift. Not selfish at all!! He is telling the world, in each person is buried, some untapped productive resource but only those who reach out for it will ever benefit from it. Santanfara, this is one of the most productive tapes I have viewed recently. I will recommend it for anyone's regular digest. |

Investments in human capital is of great importance. Yesterday i was watching on news that Nigeria had so far made 100 billion dollars from oil revenues yet the country is queueing for petrol or people fighting for basic faclitiues like runing water, a school or some basic health facility right within site of oil pipe lines.
They can only hope that some good Angel will come from the sky to drop some Manna from Heaven.
I agree with him that we all have potentials to tap if only we look inwards. However, i will add that the environment plays a big factor in looking inwards. If you look forward to one meal a day, then, your inward looking potential is how to forage for food rather than seek the intellectual stimulus to leap forward.
Until we do away with patronage, such people like him, who are fortunately very plenty on the continent, will go undiscovered. I am sure we all met some unlettered persons who amazed us with their reasoning abilities. What if they had a chance to be educated. |
