NIA:FOR THE PEOPLE OR FOR THE DICTATOR?

http://www.thepoint.gm/The%20Bite501.htm

The question arises as to what qualifies one to be the NIA boss? Is it the crossing of the farting competition or the willingness to ooze blood? Either way, I think that ‘better late than never.’ Pa Jallow smelt the rat in all senses and is now calling it quits in a broad day light. This move of his’ is welcome. If there is any crime he committed or witnessed during his tenure of office, it is as well in his best interest that he vomits it out. Unlike his predecessors, Daba Marena and Abdoulie Kujabi who blindly hooked themselves to the post like ‘hookworms’ sucking blood, thinking of immortality, only to become victims of the same terror they supported with their own hands for a long time. The adage goes “What goes around comes around.” No one should be happy about their mysterious circumstances. I am not, but the evil that men do will live after them. It is apparently clear that all the missing people in the Gambia were terrorized directly or indirectly by the NIA while coordinating with the July 22nd militants, otherwise known as the “green-boys.”

Here you are Mamat Lamin Jarju; for the people or for the dictator? You too, choose your way. If you decide to dwell on terror, it will be clear. If you choose to serve the people, it will clear.

I hope in the start to your assignment, you can tell people about Daba & Co and their mysterious circumstances. It is in your interest you ponder about their whereabouts and that will give you a gist of what you looking at as a successor to the position.

All the same, common to the Tai Solarinians, “May your road be rough.” Hopefully, a day will come when this entire nightmare will be history. May God protect us from the evils of your hand and the evil of which your hand was created.

*Terror: The inflicting of fear or anxiety to another person. The Western misnomer is far from it and a shame to reality.

Delton, this is a good warning that you stressed. Food for thought for all those aggressive zombie-like security official and their civil counterparts steering the invisible hands of the dictator while he continue sucking the bloods of fellow citizens. One theory gaining grounds as we have witnessed over the years under Jammeh's Gambia is that anyone who fail to note this phrese " what goes around comes around" could sooner rather than later share the fates of their predecessors with all the veried consequences. Any sincere Gambian working under this administration should learn enough by now and be prepared to balance their porfolios serving the people for the common good or carry on serving the dictator and his deteriorating system. Sadly so far, very few realise this or blindly continued the legacy trailing along the same route as traitors distressing The Gambia and the moral fabric of The Gambian society.

It's ironic I yet to see MI5 or the CIA not take orders from their Commanders in Chief but somehow the NIA must not take orders from theirs. That's crazy. These bodies are in place to gather intelligence and for the national security. The people are given the right to vote every five years. The elected leaders is who carries overall responsibility of the National Interest. The NIA works on behalf of the national interests of the elected government of the day and in this case its Jammeh. Let's keep it real!

Lets not only keep it real; but be real indeed!!
National interest!!!!!!!! It's time for us to come clean. Could you please define what national/peoples interest means to you? In my view, it should be about safeguarding and giving appropriate assistance and intelligence on citizen's safety and well being. This offcause, has to come with the security and protection of officials including the leaders.

Well am sure you never witness or hear someone pickedup, detained, tortured or in worse cases even kill by the MI5 or CIA just because they are exercising their civil right critising Bush, Blair or Brown. These institutions conducts their duties serving national interest rather than the sole interest of serving leaders or their political parties. They have nothing to do with citizens who happened to reject Labour's or Republican's policies.

Come on Carl people do get picked up the police under the Terrorist laws in Britain and America. As for the NIA they are part of intelligence now we can play childish politics or deal with reality the NIA has recently undergone an overall as far as being more transparent. Now wouldn't it be bettet for the debate to center around updated situation by concentrating on whether or not the NIA have improved their procedures since they have introduced new procedures?

The master that NIA serves is a deadly criminal by all account. He robbed everything in his greed to become anything. Now he is nothing but an unclean thief. The NIA is a criminal establishment. They kill and then turn around to declare victims have escaped!! The entire role of Gambia's NIA is to provide cover for the criminal commander and his bogus state of affairs.

Karamba,It is easy to make slanderous statements over the net but can they be proven in a court of law? With writing such replies comes with it responsibility are you willing to take responsibility for the words you write here? Liable can be a very expensive business. Therefore it would be prudent to back up such statements with evidence. Especially when such postings are being scrutinized by a lot of different agencies who have internet access. As we have become aware many suspected terrorists have been picked up from writing on forums, oblivious to the fact that international security forces have been following their threads. I just thought I'd reminded you of that fact because its important here that we keep perspective within our wtiting no matter what are political opinions. We maybe writing in cyberspace but these are sensitive times internationally.

Sister Omega,

This one is real blackmail and turns YOURSELF into a terrorist. If you have facts to back Jammeh and his club of bandits, go ahead but stay away from blackmail. You cannot reverse the wheels of time. Thirteen (13) years ago, a group of bandits robbed the Gambian constitution to establish this criminal regime. Tell Gambians that is not true and not me who is simply reminding us all of the bare facts!! If calling a criminal act like coup and all the crimes on that premises in Gambia afterwards is why you choose to blackmail, stay cool. These facts are unbeatable.

Karl & bro Karamba,

Omega is back with a lot of energy. She recently got married. Was it Bansang? haaaaaaaaaa!

"With writing such replies comes with it responsibility are you willing to take responsibility for the words you write here?" Omega.

Where is that one from? Should i say to you, presiding over a state comes with responsibility. If i may ask you Omega, where is Daba Marena or yet still Abdoulie Kujabi? It is obvious such a thread from me was not uttered for 'fun'

I am afraid Sis Omega cannot understand our Gambian situation because she is from a very violent country like Jamiaca, where development is worth more than human life! I am sorry Sis but gambia is a very close society where one killing affects so many people.

Janjang,

may be Jamaica might not have anything to do with it.

Omega is covered in dark garments that she cannnot accept the truth.

i am beginning to believe there is a larger interest for her in supporting Jammeh's administration. Don't you see she just got herself a brand Gambian man. How do you know that's not an associate to that administration-directly or indirectly. Food for thought yaww.

Sister Omega, Please don't give me that!! We all know the issue on terrorism. People being arrested for terror activities is completely a different thing from arresting, detaining, torturing journalist and opposition activist.

The NIA have misguaided priorities that are no benefit to us. Let them be professional and use clear cut evidence to investigate and uncover the killings of Dayda Hydara, Koro Ceesay, the 44 Ghanians etc. Just very recently, Rambo Jatta came out of custody, after been picked up by these officials yet still they did not even have guts to say where he was and why they arrested him. So many other vulnerable victims on similar circumstances. Due to hypocritical and cowardly display of activities in their crusade against anti Jammeh, the atmosphere within communities and civil service has turned into something else. They missed out or ignored vital security issues and concerns of ordinary citizens while victimising the innocents based on assumptions rather than facts or reality as to what threat thoes individuals are to national security. The NIA are held in thrall by their almost supper-threatening behaviours to every single person in that land today. They are just bunch of picpockets stealing citizens freedoms and liberty at every street conner, markets areas, community places, Town/ Village centres, work/Offices places and even at peoples homes through out that tiny Gambia.

Whether they're transparents now or not, progressive Gambians don't need their so called services in the manner framed by their creator, the mighty AJJ Jammeh, and we care less, what we care most is let them ease up and let citizens be citizens in their own land without looking back.

Karamba, credit to you all. As far as i am concerned, you're one of the valuable burning political issue contributors in this forum. Well, we owe it to our Nation however, wherever, whenever, whoever we're, as far as we're sincere enough. Lets keep the fire burning. One day! one day the truth shall prevail. Thanks
