fellow patriots, the drama unfolding in our land is really a very intresting one.I mean politically,in the recent days, any mature person with a sound mind will wonderful if there is an iota of truth in the massage the APRC campaign team (yanks, FJC, THE DAILY observer, and Jammeeh Himself) are putting to the electorates.Did I hear yanks telling the people of Lamin that electricity problem will soon be a thing of the past? funny enough, forgeting that this was the same massage in the previous election campaign shortly after which he was branded the most corrupt Gambian. Is yanks trying to take us for granted or did he thinks all gambians are fools like him. After all the boss himself has promise a 99 percent electrifacatin since four years ago and the matter is just going worst since then.who will believe them for Gods sake'''where are the factories and the employment opportunities they promise the youths in 2001.

The most annoying of it all is the daily observers recent defending of the Ex president Jawara and classifieding him as the most dignified stateman. The question is WHY NOW? Why don,t they defend the old man during those days when he was not in the country to defend himself, ( in Exile) and Jammeh and his pros went around the nation describing jawara and his ministers as "Deremoos" who where in office for their personal gains.those this means that Jawara the then Deremoo has now swop his Deremoo statues with jammeh who is the biggest DIGS of all time? silly isn't it.If jammeh should now turn around to those who he once described as thieves and putting them in office, then there is two conclusions i.e jammeh was lying about this people or he himself has now turn into a thief as well.simple.

There is no egg without a chicken, and no chicken without egg.

Funny! Is it not brother? This clearly shows that our political leaders and their backers still thing that the electorate are ignorant. They think they can tell us anything and we will believe them. I wonder why people like yankuba and the jahumbas think they should not shut their mouths for us. These people have never been elected into office but still think they are better suited to argue for the government. If they think we can trust them they should submit themselves for election.

Thank God that Gambians own their minds now and that no one can colonize and influence their conscience. You see, education is very effective in extricating peoples' minds from political slavery. This internet phenomenon is doing us justice in providing us the knowledge for political freedom.

Leave them to talk all sort of rubbish and we continue to regard them as fools. This Jammeh government is a failure and will never recover. A government without a programme of action is bound to failure. Look at what happened to the farmers, no cash to purchase their produce. Just this morning I spoke to my dad and he lamented about this issue. At least he is lucky because I try to send some fish money when I can. Imagine those without any other source of revenue order than their income generated from their produce. VERY TOUGH, IS'NT IT?

MAY THE ALL MIGHTY BLESS THE GAMBIA AND HER PEOPLE.

i'm really having a hard time thinking jammeh would be willing to step down should he lose the elections. i think he'll try to stay by force, he does control the military. i think we should try and prepare ourselves for the drama that might unfold this year.

There will not be any drama because God would have willed it. Gambia is a funny place to be. They are more religious than the House of Abraham.

I am actually writing metaphorically and only showing that people will not take to the streets as expected. gambians believe that what ever happens is willed by God and as such they should not do anything.

May be people who are more knowledgeable in religion can throw some light on this. But i believe that because there is hell and heaven, God is not responsible for evrything. We too are responsible for some of our actions. Gambians want someone to sacrifice for them.

What vigilnace? Yaya's victory is already sealed because God has Willed it already.

I hope you are mistaken konds. I hope God never wills yaya's prolong stay as president any longer. It cannot be good for anyone not even for himself.

Can't you see we are already at a breaking point.

GAMBIANS BELIEVE THAT GOD DOES EVERY THING AND THEY WILL SIT AND WAIT TO BE SLAUGHTERD ONE BY ONE BECAUSE GOD WILLED IT. IF GOD HAD A SON (ASTAHFIRLAH) I WOULD HAVE ADVISED HIM NOT TO LIVE IN THE GAMBIA, BECAUSE HIS FATHER WOULD BE BLAMED FOR EVERYTHING.

GAMBIANS BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE MORE RELIGIOUS THAN THE HOUSE OF ABRAHAM AND SO JUNKUNG IS ALSO PLAYING TO THE GALLERY BY SAYING HIS WEALTH COMES FROM ALLAH'S CENTRAL BANK. BIRDS OF THE SAME FEATHER FLOCK TOGETHER.

My sister Kasma'
You are absolutely right.I agree 100 x 1000 percent.

KONDORONG thats exactly the point.God God God.

WHO WILL TELL JAMMEH HE HAS LOST THE ELECTIONS EVEN IF THE WHOLE COUNTRY VOTED HIM OUT?

Definately not his own chosen IEC Boss?

Anyone who thinks Jammeh is going to loose this comming election or any election he chose to stand to be re-elected, must have an operation as that person's hypotalamus might be functioning anti-clockwise.

The so called independant Electoral Commission always seeks clearance from Junkung b4 doing anything.Have you people forgotten when NADDM was formed,Jukung was the first to declare the opposition MPs as forfeitting their seats by joining NADD.He even vowed that Hallifa and Hamad will never return to Parliment even if it would cost him any thing. This was even b4 IEC announce the post of the MPs vaccant.
God has not answered his prayers 4 Halifa was returned by the little awoken serrekunda central voters despite thousands given to Fatou matta Jahumpha to buy votes.
His alledged brother was said to intimidate people in Saloum with Alkalolus being fired at will and military and police intimidating people arresting some only to release them after voting.
Jammeh for life until he is tired of ruling or removed.
Some elders used to say to me when I used to campaign...Look Janyanfara, God has put him there and only God can remove him. What can we do?We don't want to have a bad ruler but we can only pray to God and anytime God wills,he will go peacefully.

i'm not a violent person, really i'm not, but in situations like this, what can you do. i think i'm in the same frame of mind like the french people during the french revolution. if i was to find out someone murdered him tommorrow, i would not be sad, it seems like he's determined to make us Gambians the laughing stock of the world and stools that he can place his feet on i'm sick and tired. both Jawara and Jammeh should be put on trial and then horse whipped.

If God PUT HIM THERTE AND ONLY GOD CAN REMOVE HIM,THEN WHY THE HELL ARE WE GOING THE POOLS.
If I come to your house with a gun and you ran away to safe your life,You and me who is the brave one?I think its You who ran away because you havemore sense than I have.
People keep blaming God for every thing and am sure some would even blame HIM for sending them to hell in the hereafter. Why why why?God never said to anyone to seek for an honest way of living and not to infringe on other powerless people's rights. Then if people becomes bad, we atribute it to GOD.
Am sure some would be thinking that if a man climbs a tree and hangs himself then God was responsible.Oh God don't wory we shall meet you, then please defend your self that you never ask us to fold our arms and depend on you entirely. You've asked us to try own our own and with your help we can make it.
