sibo, i do understand your point and its the truth.i know you dont support the death penalty and also you dont want sharia but try to understand my too.tabara commit a crime and she should stand on trial for what she did.ok thats right, but you dont answer my question instead you asking about facts.my question is,do you think she is healthy enough to stand for a trial?psychologically 90 percent of the gambian woman are surfering brain damage cause by their husband or men.the tabara heard the news that her husband is going to marry another woman,i guess thats time time she surfering the mental disoder.for example i have seen similar experience with my aunty.immediately she heard that her husband is seeing some one she starting acting strange crying calling people everytime.she had even admitted to my mum that some time she dont even know how she`s over doing things.the worst is she dont even notice her husband is in the house she shouted aloud to her poor kids who dont know whats going on.my own mum that she is given have of complain is surfering the kind of problems and always say gambian men are the worst of all men.personally am not going to judge them and any woman in the same situation because i try to understand them which could have been the other way round.you see all this problems we should blame it to our religions believes specially we africans.we gambians we always have the wrong intepretation of many thinks we practiced led by this so call religious leaders.this leaders refused to understand that we are living in the twentifirst century.now am going to answer your question on the female judges.one, in this particular cased is time for you all women of gambia to challenge the system no matter how uneducated are you in numbers.two,it should be a perfect example for you women of this nation to try more to get to the judiciary because gambian societies are open for challenges which you dont notice.three,be more liberal in the begining of your relationship and change your attitute of money first.am not attacking you sibo but this is delicated to all my sisters and loving mother.kisses and know i promise to love you more.thanks

I actually answered your question saying that I believe that she was sane.
The problem is that you are mixing way to many things together. We are talking about a murder case here, but you keep on talking about everything but the particular case. I do not want to discuss this particular case anymore.
But lets talk about all the other things you mentioned here. First of all how did the religious leaders get into this and is it just me or did you just call all gambians stupid??

May I askhow old you are, cause you are blabing like a kid. You start on so many topics that you do not elaborate on. Most gambian women today are educating themselves and their daughters and are being financially independent from men, so the money thing is BS. And as a grown woman, if you cannot handle your husbands behavior or habits, leave, get a divorce.
A tiny piece of advise, pick one topic and stick to it.

talking about misinterpretation on things, you totally misinterpreted the gambian woman. You seem to thing that we are all narrow-minded and our only problem is money. Gambian women are the ones keeping their families together, working their asses off to make ends meet and so on, I can go on forever.....

How long have you been living in Sweden????

My only concern seems to be that the magistrate did not appeared to have address the accused's defence of provocation in his ruling. I must admit, i do not know whether this defence was validly made out but if it was, then the offence should have been reduced to manslaughter the maximum sentence for which is life imprisonment. In any case, this is a no win situation. The Accused and the victim had grown-up children. This tragedy will live with them for the rest of their lives. It is very very sad.

I am saddened that it happened

I do not oppose unity but I oppose dumb union.

Nyarikangbanna,
They have no children. All grand Nyan's children are born and live in Sweden and I happen to know all both black and mixed.

First of all why would I need to condemn you??? I asked of your age because you sound very immature and makes no sense.
You do not make me mad and I am not sad. The reason I asked how long you have been living in sweden is that no matter how long you have been living in sweden, that should not effect your english. Anyways, you are right, lets forget this whole topic. Security reasons??? please!!!!!!
have a nice weekend, no heart feelings???

dembis,
Nevermind your age. We are here as equals that exchange views and ideas. If it was because of age, then people like me would not have been posting here.

Thanks for that the Info alhassan but the local press including Foroyaa had quoted the defence lawyer as saying that the couple had children. Anyway, thanks for putting the records straight.

Cheers

Good Choice Bro, England is not as it was, many people are leaving those that were born there and even whose great great grandfathers were born there,Sweden seems to have a better idea of the quality of life,BUT English is still the most spoken language (that's probably wrong maybe chinese or Hindi is!!)
