my friend has just returned from gambia he was getting 36 dls to £1.00, he said it effected his holiday, he enjoyed eating out but had to rethink what meals/drinks/trips he took, with the exchange rate as it means a beer is nearly a £1.00, 30dls for a beer. this is at its basic element less money for the dls, less money spent at resort. the plan was to go back again for christmas but it is now too expensive.
