ive just booked a week in the gambia and i cant wait... its costing £254..i think thats cheep enuff... what do you think...

Yes its not bad two bob- although it was easy enough to get two weeks for the same price last year. I don`t think you will get a cheaper one at the moment.
I have used www.icelolly.com for three years
Tonight I found another site www.cheapflights.co.uk - saw a 7 day flight for £199 and a flight from January 6 til March 31 (some 2.5 months) for £249. Although it may be one of these companies that doesn`t come up with the goods once u phone them- worth a try though.
Im jealous ! Have a lovely time and let us know all about your travels when u return. I try and collect the newspapers and magazines off the flight and give them to the locals at the airport.I asked if i could do this once and they said yes - got loads !

I think shes means that she gives the papers to the locals for free, so they can try and sell them on....just guess but I wouldnt of thought she would be makinf money of the free papers from the plane...

fee sweetie, thank you for that, GAMBIABEV, what from my postings made yu think i collected the papers and sold them .
is that what you do. 
Collecting the papers and giving them to the guide or driver can be a nice lttle earner for them. i first learnt about it when i stayed at palma rima, near the pool a man set up table with al the european newspapers, that was his business, most of the papers were bought, on my trips i gve him sunday papers and weekly mags like hello, he made money. end of story he went home have money to buy food. in those days the sunday times he could sell for £1.00,
