Seems that Spain is looking for a way to stop African migrants trying to reach the Canary Isles ..... please see the attached link http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/7004139.stm

Jambo, newspapers have been writing about this and there are court cases involving would be migrants and a bill has recently been passed. You should think again if you think that all these will deter people's determination of travelling to Europe through these death traps.

i did not know that a bill had been passed, but this seems to be a concentrated effort to stem the tide, has it been shown on gambia TV.
of course it would not deter people, better wages will do that.

i know a bill was put to parliament but what is there and what is practised is different. gambia has a lot of bills but people will carry on, a bigger issue is at stake and that is desperation on the part of the boat people and greed on the part of the money men. this bil you can write it into the sand.
better wages, more education and improvement in the standard of living will help gambians. look at the other topics, dalasis aginst the foreign currency, price of staple foods increasing decreasing, no jobs you do the maths a bit more attnetion to that subject would help.
