there will be a gambian association meeting in coventry u.k on the 26 of august this sunday .the time is 4pm in foleshill .contact KARABULIE KAMARA ON MOBILE 0778780522 .This is necessary to re-enforce unity and strong brotherhood among gambians resident in that city .every member is expected to make a monthly contribution .thanks.

yesterday ,we held the meeting .it was facinating .we have many new members from women to older men .it was also lively ,people made many important suggestions .i couldn't wait till the meeting ended due to another engagement but when i call later ,it was even more lively. a husband and wife were engage in quarel over the eid party issue.the wife wants the association to organise an eid party whilst the husband was against the idea but any how the wife got the support of party loving members .
many contriutions were collected and we now plan to make stroger partnership and cooperations.our door is still open for gambians in the local university and other resident .the local university is very helpful to gambians .if any one wish to know more about the university please call abdoulie on the number in the previsious postings.

| gambians in coventry city will be having an end of ramadan celibration on saturday from 4pm in number 152 leicester coars way off stoney staton road close to main central mosque. call 07852491734 for more details. it is only for gambians to know each other better .it is going to be a family day together .people are advice to bring along their children.married women prepare some traditional meal , any meal and singles buy some soft drinks for the occassion . |

alhamdulilah .yesterday for the first time in coventry we were able to bring together diverse gambians families for a day of eid celebrations. it was a happy event for all those attended.we have more than fifteen married couples,many single students from the local university,gambians maried to english lady's ,and other invited guest.
all sorts of gambian/sengalise meals where provided.we intend to make it an even bigger one on tobaski .it just felt like we were in the gambia yesterday . |
