It's inevitable that one would think Like you did! Takeover??
I merely placed this here as the forum topic says 'Gambian websites', thought i'd announce this here just like I've announce 'bantaba' on other sites. Am i in the wrong in doing this? Please delete post as necessary if i am.
Theres lots of similar websites out there each thriving in there own rights.

Indeed a patriotic move. The coming of many sites and forums are steps in the right direction. Gambians are beginning to be in charge of their destiny. (courtesy of Hon. Sallah).
Personally, I feel there shouldn't any barrier with these online outlets. They are all places of research; sharing ideas.
However, want to caution you:
-Don't ever take sides when contributors get into arguements. Engage contributors, and control the debate flow.
-No censorship at all.
-If one contributor should treat another with harshness, the one treated unfairly also becomes fair to reciprocate by all his heart, without being alienated.
-laise with other forums and newspapers. Contribute, just as you expect them to do also.
-Don't be bossy with it; it will just be an outlet like the many others at hand.
-Let it be a free forum. All should feel safe and at home.
-Control terror on individuals.
-Make it user-friendly-edit/delete.
I congratulate you for a noble undertaking, and you should do a press release and forward it to all media outlets. In observation of your noble task, I will piece out a story, or poem that will be read in no other forum or paper but yours.
All the online media outlets are one family; family of the Gambia and her friends.

My Contribution to the Smiling coast forum, as a sign of welcome and recognition. It is dedicated to all decent forums, including our Bantaba cyberspace, the long time home for many people. The coming of such outlets, to also search for their 'nichee' is by far, a positive development.
Long live all media outlets!!

Theres nothing to be sorry for or have regrets about Toubab, we appreciate you joining in the first place..Sad that the board seems hard for you to navigate..this might be due to the fact that we still writing a walk through/guide on how to use the board for the members benefit. Perhaps you're too used to other boards that's why this one seems difficult but in contrast its pretty simple and easy to use/navigate once u give your time to get used to it. Its all pretty simple and basic. Your account will be Unsubscribe as of now. The smiling Coast team takes this Opportunity to Thank you.
