After serious reflection over the numerous killings in Gambia during the 13 years of Yaya Jammeh's misrule, will anyone dispute that president Jammeh has a killer instinct, a burning desire to murder?

Santafara be real there are indeed worst President's than Jammeh in the world who relish murdering on a daily basis and even have access to nuclear weapons. How many Presidents actually go out of their way to try to heal people?

Omega,
Welcome back. We missed your poetry, and i thought a 'spirit walk' poem would have been better from you at this point.
Though he[jammeh] pretends to be a healer, but how can you heal 20, and hundred others are being incarcerated??
Killing is very foreign to Gambian culture. It is now serialized. What a sad trend! The Ghanians case adds to the many unresolved cases like opined by Karamba.

| There you go again Karamba, Jammeh the killer, Jammeh the dictator, Jammeh the law breaker. When will you understand that Jammeh is here to stay his course and that is the full end of his mandate. I really start to think that you are just after the man and not the real thing. What happen to innocent until proven otherwise?? If you want that to apply as it is in a democratic atmosphere, then in your democratic mind you should start by affording it to your rivals. In your case Jammeh is already guilty. Are you not being a dictator your self: (The man does not fit my purpose so cry blood). Isnīt that what you are accusing Jammeh of doing?? Or are you advocating for the kind of democracy that can hang him. (Bush style democracy)? |

Bread Man,
Not by any mention of the word will you find in any of my postings where I advocate to have mob justice for Jammeh. I have stated earlier that left to me, Jammeh will be accorded the highest standard of justice. I still stand by that. I don't know where you import this sentiment associating me with the aim of having Jammeh hung? Simply put, Jammeh pronounced his desire to have people killed. It came to be. What do you call that? Is it not in Jammeh's biggest interest to face justice? That will surely end all the speculation, don't you think? Again, and again, I don't want to see Jammeh hung, or killed like he did others. I prefer the best scale of justice for him. |

Well noted Brotherman, I probably will have to go through most of your postings to really understand what you are advocating. |

Bread Man,
Being president is not simply a bundle of higher previleges. It is a serious responsibility. In the look of things your president only sees the fat material and money benefits of being president. If he was to transform his abject poverty into the riches he boasts of now without killing or maiming Gambians and non-Gambians in the process, that was easy to reconcile. The saga of many killings can never be forgotten. There is curious attention paid over every bit of crime committed by Jammeh since he staged that coup. Along with his wealth, these crimes and the associated distress are growing too. If you care to pick on Jammeh's present comportment, you will have no doubt he is gripped by despair and disappointment. He is disappointed because things keep changing beyond his expectations. He is desperate because situations get way out of hand. It is like the Golden Touch of King Midas who wished to be the richest in the world. He acquired a magic spell with special powers. Everything he touched turned into gold. Everything; even the water he wanted to drink. Later his little princess also turned into gold after being touched by the wealthy king. Can you see how an excess desire for possession has the other side to it? Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves suffered similar fate. After looting, they forgot the magic word for OPENING and kept on asking to have the cave CLOSED. There are moral lessons to learn about excess possession. Power, we are told, corrupts. Absolute power, it is added; corrupts absolutely. Modesty is best. |

The message on Freedom reads like a RECONSTRUCTION. Under this open and wider sky, it is inconceivable that Foday Makalo takes shelter somewhere without trace. This view has been peddled and recycled long before. Freedom is the last note of sound where the sensation vibrates. Why will Foday Makalo not give an interview to journalists long ago? |
