Tintinto,

Depends on the airline. Most airlines wouldn't allow a 30-week+ pregnant woman (on international flights) for fear of the cabin crew becoming instant midwives.

Please find below four links that should be helpful. But, the bottomline is to contact the airline you wish to use!!

Thanks!
Ramou

bring her over asap, she will have to find a clinic or hospital and register with them that could take time.

She might get better care in Gambia! Judging from the latest reports in the news about Midwifery etc in UK!

Joking apart, she possibly needs folic acid and iron. It would be reassuring for her to have a scan. But dont over medicalise her pregnancy. It could make it very daunting for her. If she is young and fairly healthy it is a normal event that should have a happy outcome. Congratualtions.

Do you have baby names?

Thanks for advice all. Looks like i may have left it to late already, to bring her over before birth?? Bev, the baby if a boy will be called "Kabo" short for "Makumba" my Wife's, Father's name. he was a lorry driver in Senegal, and was killed in his lorry, when she was very young. If it is a girl, she will be called "Veera" after my mother in England, who died 10 years ago from "Motor Neurone"!!
