The abolishment of slavery was recently celebrated here in Britain. Its quite thoughtful of those behind the idea. However, i feel the urgency now than ever before for those behind the shameful business to apologise and pay damages. Since the Jews were compensated why not us(Africans)? Some may be tempted to say we have heard it before. And so wat? I for one will clamour for that until my days come to an end. Wat is good for the goose is good for the gander. We are always ready to point fingers at 'dictatorial' regimes in the third world but turn a blind eye to the atrocities committed by the so-called civilized first world. Is that fair play? They should back their words wit genuine actions geared towards reparation of the damages.
MADIS ,DID YOU SEE THE GHANA MAN WHO PROTESTED INSIDE A CHURCH IN PRESENT OF HER MAJESTY AND LORD BLAIR ? the man was asking the same question ?
