Hi
I've just returned from a visit and the price of cement rose when we were there. It was (just) possible to get a bag for 265D but our friend had to hunt around and was quoted as high as 285. He told us two reasons: not much was available AND everyone was busy trying to buy and build before the rainy season
It's not easy....

Jambo,

A whole government department called 'Weights & Measures' existed some time ago. I am not sure if it does now or passed through a change of name. They would inspect and helped to ensure uniform standards in weights and measures. But, but, you can't know what others are capable of of playing around those rules. There were cases of tampering in the past and nothing runs so good these days to make anyone think such games are not being played. Nothing to scare you, Jambo; have a nice trip.

Gambia government Integrated Pay Scale Ranges from D 750 to D5,000 monthly. Average salary is mainly between D1,500 to D3,500 for middle-level.

Can Momodou extract the current Integrated Pay Scales?

In addition utility bills including Electricity, Water and Telephone consume D1.500 to D5,000 per household.

What about policy on POVERTY ALLEVIATION? We want BREAD AND BUTTER!!!

That might be so Jambo - but salaried one minute - gone the next! Then what?

Kobo, what are you talking about? I have never heard about "Integrated Pay Scale" before and would therefore propose you post it yourself since it seems you know about them.
